Since becoming its owners 14 years ago, we have fell in love with both The Pelican, the customers and the village of Tacolneston, and feel it’s important to show our affection in everything that we do.

We therefore apply ourselves wholeheartedly to all aspects of our business and believe strongly in fresh local produce whilst supporting our local community. We have a strong business philosophy of offering ‘choice, quality and value for money’, whilst ensuring that all our customers feel welcome and valued in a friendly, clean and relaxed environment.

As a family run business, we are a close working group consisting of myself Esther Maginn my partner Bryn (head chef)  We hope to retain this family business by bringing up our daughter Eviecello and son Frank into this socialable atmosphere. So they can play with other children within our large award winning garden.
